I post reviews to Amazon, goodreads, Instagram, kobo, Barnes and noble and my blog. Additionally I make referrals to our local library where we are active patrons.

I post to Instagram daily, often 2-4 times per day - 95% book content - reviews, promo shares, book humor. 5% general humor. I post to my blog 2-4 times per week. I review 1-5 books per week. I get through audiobooks and children’s books faster than ebooks. I average 2-3 audiobooks and 1 ebook per week on a regular basis.

Life long avid reader.
Professional analyzer of evidence based information and assessment writer. Bachelor of science in psychology, Bachelor of Arts in political science, masters in public administration. 36/36 on the reading portion of the ACT.

Favorite genres - Romance, Science, History, Children’s.

Contemporary romantic comedies or dark romance. Sometimes I love a laugh or crave an emotionally scarred hero. Favorite authors - Penny Reid, Helen Hoang, Tessa Bailey, Helena Hunting, VI Keeland, Penelope Ward, LJ Shen, Meg Cabot, Julie James, Beth O’Leary, Emily Henry, Sally Thorn.

Paranormal Romance - especially aliens, shifters, fated mates, post apocalyptic, reverse harem. The more out there the better - this is my favorite option when I need to escape reality. Love Crystal Ash, Kathryn Moon, Ruby Dixon, Amanda Milo, Lizzy Bequin.

Historical romance - primarily regency. I’ve read a lot of English lit - Austen, Bronte, etc and enjoy regency romances in the vein of Mary Balogh, Mary Jo Putney, Julia Quinn, Tessa Dare. I love visiting another time and place.

I also enjoy science, history and biographies. Especially in audiobook format. I really enjoy autobiographies read by the author - especially comedians- Tina Fey, Eddie Izard. You feel like they’re just telling you about their life as a friend. I enjoy listening to physics and astronomy non-fiction. I have a gifted child and have to keep up! I enjoy historical audiobooks for a calm and soothing listen.

I’m a mom to 4 and 8 year old boys in pre-k and 3rd grade. They love science, legos, pokemon, paw patrol, Minecraft, animals, Bluey, Disney and Octonaughts. I also read with and buy books for my nieces who are 7, 4 and under 1 and my nephew who is 6.

Additionally I volunteer with children in foster care ages 8 and under to help monitor their well being and development. In doing this I visit them and read to and with them and bring them books.
